One of those days!

I am not exactly sure why, but I am feeling slightly grouchy today. I feel overwhelmed by my projects at work and if I did not have twenty things due today I would probably have called in sick this morning. I hope my attitude improves, or it is going to be a long day, and possibly a long week.

It's okay to feel overwhelmed. You sounds like you have a lot on your plate and you keep such an intense schedule. Do you have a vacation day coming up? Can you take 1/2 day or 1 day off? Sometimes being away from work for a day can actually make you more productive.

Maybe call a day off in the middle of the week, and finish the task on the weekend might help you refresh your mind. (That is, if it is an option).

I agree with shell above. The need to unwind is so overused but definitely necessary for truly busy people like you.

Oh, by the way, I noticed on the link list in your sidebar that you are subscribed to Slashdot! You must also be some kind of a techy lawyer. Not a very common combination but perhaps a needed one considering that law and tech are crossing paths these days.

There is now Cyberlaw and Intellectual Property Law is now taken to a new level. I even wrote something regarding Cyberlaw. It's about how some bloggers' blog have been intruded and the reasons why. I also think that online privacy is something which must not be taken lightly. I hope you or your readers will find something of benefit in those topics. If you're interested, drop by Darkest Shade

Hi, Dagny. I just dropped by to apologize for the error in the link above. The "online privacy" link erroneously links to your post here. My bad. Lest you or your readers be confused by that, I'll include the correct one here: online privacy. Thanks and I hope you have a good day ahead of you. Relax, stay calm, and don't mind the secretary. She won't be going places—you will be. :)

Shell: I took a day off and it seems to have helped me a lot. I feel as though I am out of the funk I was in.

Luke: Thanks for the links and comments. I do not practice any type of tech law. However, I am a techie at heart, and am married to a major tech geek, so Slashdot is one of my favorite sites.
